Stuart J. Murphy is the author of the award-winning MathStart books (HarperCollins) and a new series for young children called I See I Learn (Charlesbridge). Stuart has also served on the authorship teams for a number of major educational programs as a visual learning specialist. His background is in art – he is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. He lives Boston, Massachusetts, with his wife, Nancy, near their children and three grandchildren, Jack, Madeleine, and Camille.
